A Lifelong Love for Cats
Our Story
Hi, I'm Dilys, the founder of Delimento Cattery. My love for cats began long before Delimento was established. My mother has always been a true cat lady, so I grew up in a home where cats were part of the family. Their companionship, gentle nature and unique personalities shaped my childhood and taught me from an early age how special the bond between people and animals can be.
After graduating from university, I welcomed my first cat of my own, a silver shaded British Shorthair. I quickly fell in love with the breed. The more I learned about British cats, their history, temperament, structure and genetics, the more fascinated I became. That passion eventually grew into Delimento Cattery.
Since establishing Delimento, one of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been watching our kittens grow into deeply loved family members. Over the years, many of our kitten families have also become our friends, and receiving their photos and life updates continues to bring us so much happiness.
For us, breeding has never been simply about producing beautiful kittens. It is a long term commitment to ethical breeding, responsible care and the lifelong well being of every cat we raise. Our goal is to preserve the qualities that make British cats so special while preparing each kitten for a healthy and loving life with the right family.
Today, I am also a mother, and my own child is growing up surrounded by cats, just as I did. Our kittens are raised in a real family home with daily interaction, gentle handling and plenty of affection. Watching my child develop the same kindness and love for animals makes this journey even more meaningful.

Delimento Cattery is a registered British Shorthair and British Longhair cattery with The International Cat Association. Our official registration and show achievements reflect our commitment to ethical breeding, responsible care and maintaining high standards within our breeding program.
We regularly participate in TICA cat shows, where our cats are evaluated by experienced judges according to the official breed standard. These experiences allow us to continue learning, deepen our understanding of structure, balance, coat quality and temperament, and make thoughtful decisions for future generations. We are proud of the recognition our cats have received, but every award also represents an opportunity to learn, grow and continue working toward the highest breed and breeding standards.

Our breeding cats receive comprehensive DNA testing for more than 50 hereditary conditions, along with annual examinations and routine vaccinations. Every kitten receives age appropriate vaccinations, health examinations and preventive treatment before joining their new family.

Our kittens are handled and loved from an early age. They become familiar with everyday household sounds, grooming, nail trimming and positive interaction with people, helping them transition confidently into their new families.
